What Does Soreness Under The Molar Tooth Indicate?

my right bottom molar started as sore or tender last night. since then i noticed a little discomfort swallowing and now i feel like i may be running fever. I have had a number of absesses in past that made me feel ill, with cold and sore throat. I happened to go for routine check up at dentists and they said i d been walking around with quadruple absess. This has happened to me a few times.

Hello,

What is your age? It may be due to abscess or diabetic periodontitis (if you’re diabetic) or necrotizing ulcerative periodontitis.

Maintain good oral hygiene, use antibiotics like Amoxicillin clavulinate twice a day for five days. Also, use Rexidine mouth wash thrice a day.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your Dental specialist, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
