What Does Sperm Count -65 Million/ml,motility -active:65% Indicate?
am 26 years old. my semen analysis report is colour - greyish white liquefaction time -more than 30 minutes volume -3 ml reaction -alkaline serm count -65 million/ml motility -active:65% sluggish:20% non-motility:15% pus cells - 2-3/hpf
Your semen analysis report suggests infection. Infection is indicated by the presence of pus cells in semen. Normally there shouldn't be any pus cells in semen.Liquefaction time is also prolonged due to infection. Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI etc. You need antibiotics for infection. You need few more investigation like routine hemogram,Semen culture and sensitivity,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed after culture and sensitivity report.
Other findings like sperm count and motility is within normal limit.
