Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i ve been taking phenytoin for several years, have added zonogran temporarily to begin a switch and take a break from phenytoin if possible . My feet feel like sponges - is that ok? when I walk, they feel like sponges. The skin doesn t have sensitive feeling, just pressure, but inside it just feels like sponges. That s the closest comparison I can come up with.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
According to my long clinical experience, there sounds to be neurological effect over the innervation of feet which can be drug induced, vitamin deficiency as B12, alteration in trace elements as zinc, magnesium or other issues.
Hope I have answered your query.
