What Does Spotting And Faint Positive Pregnancy Result After Medical Abortion Mean?
Hi, I take medical abortion 4 weeks from now that time I m still less than 7 weeks pregnant. And until now i still have small blood spoting. I take pregnancy test before yesterday and I comes falsely positive result.! I m worried that I might have continuing pregnancy after a 1 month bleeding, does it mean I m still pregnant? Especially that I can still see a pulse in my neck.!

The substance ie B-hcg which is checked in urine for the pregnancy test stays in the system and continuously secreted in urine for about 2 weeks atleast but it can continue upto 4 weeks depending on the initial quantity of HCG at time of abortion.but it can also be detected in urine if some part of fetus or placenta has been left behind.i would recommend you to get a scan done to see if there isn't any remnants left in uterus
