What Does Suspicious Densities In Upper Lung Field Suggest?

hi im mitch suspicious densities are noted in the left upper lung field. the heart is not enlarged. the trachea is midline. the hemidiaphragms and costophrenic angles are intact. the osseous and soft tissue are remarkable.impression; suspicious densities,left upper lung field.apicolordotic view is suggested. wht is the meaning of this? i felt worried...

Thanks for your question on HCM.
Normal chest x ray is taken in PA ( PosteroAnterior ) view. In this view apical part of lung is overlapped by clavicle and upper ribs (1st and 2nd). So any lesion in apical part can not be clearly visualised, thus proper reporting is not possible.
So to overcome this problem, apicolordotic view is done.
In this view, x ray of chest is taken in such a way that apical areas are clearly visualised and so proper reporting of lesion can be possible.
So get done apicolordotic view.
