Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read facts of your query and reviewed it in context to your health issues submitted.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.
You seem to have TOS(Thorasic Outlet Syndrome) with V(Venous compression) and N(Brachial
Nerve Compression) type complaints.
Other causes of Vein swelling in right wrist and numbness-as discussed below need to be thought of and verified and ruled out before starting the treatment.
Cause of this swelling and numbness in right wrist could be due to-Long Transverse process of Cervical Vertebra/ or Extra
Cervical Rib elevating the floor of the Scalene triangle / Scalene Anticus Brachial entrapment/Pectoralis minor Axillary / Subclavian compression etc.
Review of the other causes is needed for proper treatment in your case.
This is a worrisome sign and indicates accompanied Venous and nerve disturbance from various causes ,in your case and needs to be attended with -Chest/ General/or Orthopedic/or Vascular Surgeon.
For this to verify
Second opinion from Chest and Vascular/ or Orthopedic Surgeon - would be needed.
Chest X-ray /Cervical X-ray / CT neck and Chest /Nerve Conduction studies- EMG and USG with Color dopler study would fix the cause and severity of venous and neural compression.
Just don't worry and be patient and co-operate with your doctors, till you verify with your attending doctors.
Hope this would help you to treat your health issues in the best way possible.
