What Does Swelling Around The Toes Indicate?

Presently, both of my feet swell on top near the toes; that has occurred since 2012; the doctor gave me Lasix which helps! They have not given me any specific reasons why my feet swell; in addition, I went to a vein special who wrapped my feet and legs and performed a procedure below the groin area and the legs, but the feet still swell. There is no swelling in my legs. If you know a remedy or a doctor who could eradicate the problem, I would highly appreciate it. Thanks a million. Moses

hi sir,swelling of dorsum of feet is seen in the following conditions :
1)heart failure especially right heart.
2)kidney diseases like chronic kidney disease.
3)varicose veins of legs
4)lymphatic filariasis
5)severe osteoarthritis of ankle joint.

the above mentioned are the most common and the most important causes.there may be others too.for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment,detailed physical examination of cardiovascular,respiratory,renal and nervous systems by a physician is essential.please go for consultation of an internal medicine specialist.hope you understand my explanation.any further queries,please let me know.its my pleasure to help you.thank you.wish you and your family a very happy new year.take care.bye.
