What Does Swelling In The Ankles Indicate?
im 20, female and i have swollen ankles with brown flaky skin around my ankles. what does this mean? the flaky skin does not itch or hurt, neither does it come off after scratching it. is this venous stasis and do i need to go to the hospital because of this?

I understand your problem. Swollen ankles are may be due to water retention. Do you get easily tired/breathless /palpitations?
Check your Hb and consult a physician there may a heart problem.
