What Does Swelling In The Feet Along With Excessive Sweating Indicate?

Not sure where to start. My labs always come back normal. Little high on the Liver values but not bad. I am 54. I have swollen feet and limbs a lot of the time. I also have heart fluttering and sweating a lot ,out of the blue. I feel flu like symptoms with aching most of the time. I had my heart checked? Nothing? I have ruled out so many things like foods (salt, caffeine) and other things that show up in lab work? I have also been tested for lupus and rheumatoid arthritis etc.... I am running out of options and my PCP has no other ideas to help me? something has not been right for the last few years and I know it.

Hello,

Swelling of limbs may be due to cardiac failure or liver failure or renal failure or anemia or hypoproteinemia or filariasis or hypothyroidism or dependent edema in old age etcetera. Until the examination of all the above systems, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
