What Does Swelling In The Head And Nausea Indicate?

I awoke one morning to find one side of my head swollen and had nausea and great difficulty breathing. Over the next two weeks as the swelling decreased a circular cupish scab formed. Doctors have not been able to figure it out. I did not occur to me until recently that perhaps it may be a spider bite, but that is just a guess and I have not run that possibility by my doctors. Any advice would be greatly appreciated- John York in Providence, RI

itcan be inflamatory swelling. can take mri brain to exclude pressure on brain itcan be inflamatory cyst. nausea can be due to cns involvment.examine pupil and reaction to light.keep watch on signs and symptoms. visual acuity should be tested. can measure iot and field tracing should be done.consult neurologist.for examination and advise on treatment.it can not be spider bite in that case asting can be found out and other symptoms of spider bite will be there.ifrequere aspiration cytological analysis can be done.
