What Does Swelling In The Left Breast Indicate?

I had breast cancer in my left breast in 2015. everything went well and I am cancer free. About 3 weeks ago my left breast became swollen and it doesn t seem like it s infected. I m just wondering if it could be from the radiation i received or from something else?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If there is hampered venous drainage to the breast then also breast swells or if there is an infection. If you don't have a fever or any generalized symptoms then infection is unlikely. But for these problems, I would recommend general examination which can be done only if you visit a doctor. Hope you understand the constraints of online consultation.

Hope this information helps you sort out your problems. If you feel it is helpful then kindly give me a user thanks vote.
Happy health!
Regards,
Dr. Archana
