Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been recovering from atypical pneumonia and I notice that my right leg is swollen. I m am still having to do breathing treatments (I have early stage copd) due to shortness of breath sometimes it feels like a band around my chest. I m not sure if I should go to the dr.
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
Taking into account all your health problems, I highly recommend to see an angiologist (specialist for blood vessels) and run Doppler ultrasound of blood vessels in your leg.
Keep your leg raised. Avoid standing for too long. Wish fast recovery.
