What Does Swelling On The Right Thumb Indicate?
I woke up this morning and my thumb on my right hand was swollen with a small hole on the knuckle where liquid is coming out of when I squeeze it. also my thumb is red and the redness continues up to my elbow on the inside of my forearm in a strip like pattern.

Maybe your finger is infected, and there is a pus discharge from the inside abscess through the puncta. You need to take antibiotics full course to subside the infection.
If it spreads, then you will get the generalized infection. So, kindly take an appropriate antibiotic after prescription from any general practitioner. Kindly get it dressed after the whole pus has been removed.
