General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should do a total blood check up doing a total blood count and blood chemistry. You are having a low calories diet and the increased weight may be just water retention from possibly impaired kidney function. Do kidney tests to check kidney function.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you all the best.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
