What Does Swelling Up Of Foot Suggest?

Good afternoon, my father is in his 80s and in the last month or so his feet are swelling up, it started with just 1 foot, now both feet are extremely swollen. what can this be? the pills he is taking? The medications he has been taking are the same ones he has always taken.

Hi,

need to do BP checked, ECG, blood urea, nitrogen, S. creatinine, albumins, globulins, LFT tests. This will tell what exact pathology is behind [if taking CVS drugs or renal or on dialysis those can do edema few of them and salt etc.]
