What Does Symptoms Like Migraines, Nausea And Diarrhea Indicate?
I suffer from migraines. This weekend I developed a headache on Saturday evening and have been extremely nauseous since. I'm experiencing diarrhea after eating and awoke Monday a.m. with a skin rash across my chest and upper arms. Could these symptoms be indicative of a virus or other problem?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You may have a viral syndrome or there may have been a reaction to something you consumed for dinner on Sunday evening which caused the rash Monday morning. Drinking plenty of water and taking some Benadryl may help with the rash if it is due to allergic considerations. If it is viral then, it will run its course of 7 to 10 days. In the meantime you may wish to check in with your doctor if the headaches persist for some suggestions on how to handle them so that you're not having migraines the whole time.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dariush Saghafi
