I have a very tender - feels bruised - spot between my first finger knuckle and my wrist bones. There is no bruise and I don't recall hitting it. It has persisted for a few days and doesn't seem to be getting any better. It only really hurts when pressure is put on the spot.
Is there any history of trauma? It may be sprain or strain. Ganglion Is a swelling situated near wrist and it becomes prominent on flexion. Therefore it may be an inflammatory lesion. It is better to take anti inflammatory drugs along with hot fomentation. Rubifacients may also be applied locally on the affected area.
