Im experiencing lower back discomfort on my right side. When I apply a little pressure its pretty tender.I also have a itchy rash on my right forearm from wrist to elbow with small red bumps.I am currently being treated For low vitamin D levals.Below 13. taking 20,000.our a week.
Yo are suffering from lower back discomfort on the right side. It is tender on applying pressure. Bone and lower back pain are commonly symptoms of inadequate vitamin D levels. You have history of low vitamin D, hence it appears to be related. Do continue with your vitamin D therapy, vitamin D helps maintain bone health by improving the body’s absorption of calcium.
Low vitamin D also causes arthritis, muscle pain, chronic widespread pain. You have also developed itchy rash on your right forearm from wrists to elbow. Itchy rashes develop commonly due to lack of nutrients like iron, calcium, vitamin D, zinc, vitamin A, etc. Take nutritious home made food, you can also take supplements. You can apply a thin layer of ointment hydrocortisone to reduce itching, do not touch, scratch or pop. Stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
