What Does The CD3 And CD4 In Blood Test Indicates?

My most recent blood tests report CD3 and CD4 to be out of range...very high (82% and 62% respect.) IGg very low (0.35) Past tests reflected very low MCH and MCHC % My symptoms for past few years include extreme fatigue, ill feeling, hives, with no diagnosis other than lymphocytic colitis which has flared up recently. Is there a connection here? thank you

Hello,

BAT/CD3 is an immune-activating monoclonal antibody produced against Daudi cell membranes and selected for stimulating lymphocyte proliferation.

The anti-tumour activity of BAT is related to its immunostimulatory properties. Both T and NK cells mediate the anti-tumour activity of BAT.

CD4-positive T cells respond to BAT activation by proliferation and INF-gamma production. CD3 and CD4 cells increased in SLE or TCell lymphoma etc.

Lymphocytic colitis may intestinal lymphocytes may express these markers. It may further be correlated please consult your oncologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
