What Does The CSF Over The Frontal Lobes With Benign Macro Carnia Indicate In The Test Result?
Just after birth our baby had a head circumference of 35.5 cm. At 1 mon, his HC had increased to 39.5 cm. An US was ordered and findings were: mild prominence of CSF over the frontal lobes consistent with benign macro crania. Is this benign i.e. nothing to worry about, or is this a problem?

Macro crania has meaning Macro= Big & Crania=Head. so synonym is big head. it is a medical terminology and not a disease. there are many condition which causes macro crania. one such is a idiopathic, which usually resolves in some times. while some are hydrocephalus communicating and non communicating variety and many others. so without knowing the actual etiology it is very difficult to know wheather it is serious or not.
