General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Biopsy will be done under CT guidance and is a relatively safe procedure. However, complications like bleeding, infection may occur even though rare. But given his history, cancer is a possibility, and biopsy is needed to determine appropriate therapy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
