What Does The MRI Mean?

I read my MRI report and it states: four to five punctate t2/flair hyperintense foci scattered in the bilateral anterior frontal subcortical white matter and posterior peritrigonal white matter on the left have a nonspecific appearance. Post contrast images demonstrate no pathological enhancement of the brain parenchyma. an incomplete cavum septum pellucidum et vergae constitutes a developmental anatomic variant. A cystic pineal lesion with thin enhancing walls measures 6mm si by 9mm AP by 7mm transverse what does this all mean? I have headaches, vision changes, nausea and vomiting, have lost 50 lbs in 7 months and trouble sleeping. Please help me understand this. Thank you

Hi,
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.
All of them are findings in MRI brain. Te punctate T2/FLAIR hyperintensities are of no clinical significance. Similarly cavum septum is also of no clinical significane.
The thing which you should be worried about is cystic pineal lesion. It can be a germinoma/pinealoblastoma. It can also cause pressure symptoms like headache and vision changes, nausea vomiting etc.
Also losing 50 lbs in 7 months in not normal. It is pathological and you should get evaluated with complete blood counts and other imaging of the body like Chest X-ray, USG abdomen.
Hope it sorts your problem and wishing you a speedy recovery.
