Following blood clot there was a noted memory lapse. An MRI on my head revealed multiple small cyctic lesions abutting the lateral ventricles in the frontal regions. It is uncertain whether these represent small lacunar infarcts or prominent perivascular spaces. There are tiny foci of increased flair signal in the bifrontal white matter which may reflect early mild microvascular ischemic gliosis. What does this mean?
I would like to know if you have any neurological symptoms. If not, MRI may show small microvascular ischemic changes in elderly, especially those who are hypertensive our diabetics. If you need further clarity on it, you can follow up with me with your MRI images,
