My old doctor said i was old and had arthritis and bursitis \and calcium small spike under the knee cap from an xray. went to a new dr. had a MRI and it says I have a vertical tear of the medial third of the lateral meniscus at the junction of the posterior horn and body segment is present. also a baker s cyst is present 3.4 x .09 x 1.0 cm . what should be the treatment for this problem?
Dear friend,I have gone through your case profile carefully.as your MRI has confirmed a tear in lateral meniscus and Baker's cyst you have no other option but go for surgery to repair meniscus and excision of Baker's cyst.so please see a orthopaedic doctor for necessary clinical assessment and surgery.my best wishes for you .thank you.
