my mri result , T1 vertebral body demonstrates high signal intensity with a corduroy morphology and is consistant with haemangioma there is C6 C7 discdemonstrates a focal right paracentral bulge causing mild degree thecal sac destortio no evidence of root compression -th ere perineural arachnoid cysts at C5 C6 AND C4 C5 cord signal intensities are unremarkable simply what is the meaning of all of this
Hi, thanks for using healthcaremagic. Hemangiomas are benign lesions which are very common in vertebral bodies and there is nothing to worry about it. A lot of people have it without any problems. The c6-7 disc has some mild degenerative changes. It is early changes and not causing significant problems as per the MRI. Arachnoid cysts are simple cystic lesions and depending on their size it might cause some problem. The sizes must ahve been metioned in the report. If they are less than a cm there is nothing much to worry. Hope it sorts out your problem.
