What Does The MRI Scan With Minimal Peroneal Tenosynovitis Indicate?
Hello, I am confused with my MRI report. Please help. What is minimal peroneal tenosynovitis, questionable partial tear in the brevis tendon, small partial intrasubstance tear in the lateral cord origin of the plantar fascia from posterior calcaneal tuberosity. Adjacent prominent soft tissue edema particularly in the proximal belly of the abductor digiti minimi muscle, Prominent marrow edema in the plantar posterior calcaneous adjacent to the plantar fascia region without fracture line, small effusion in the posterior subtalor joint.
it just means u have inflammation of the tendon with edema of calcaneum.tenosynovitis means collection of fluid along the tendon sheath and coz of it u get pain.
