Hi,
Based on the
ultrasound report, the following observations can be made:
- Both breasts have fibroadenomas, which are benign (non-cancerous) breast lumps made up of fibrous and glandular tissue.
- There is an increased amount of heterogeneous low echogenic tissue in the
subcutaneous tissue of both breasts, which suggests that the breasts are enlarged and have more fat tissue than normal. This is a physiological (normal) finding.
- There is a well-defined, smooth-marginated, round hypoechoic solid mass in the left lower quadrant of the breast at the 5 o'clock position, which measures 2.15 x 1.21 cm. This is likely a
benign breast tumor, such as a fibroadenoma or a
cyst.
- A small nodule measuring 0.97 x 0.64 cm is seen in the right breast at the 3 o'clock position.
It is important to note that while the report suggests benign findings, it is always best to follow up with a healthcare provider to discuss any concerns and possible further testing or monitoring.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
