General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The Koch`s etiology and pulmonary tuberculosis is the same aspects of one diagnosis.

* As there is medications given for 6 months as per the WHO guidelines of TB management, it is possible that lungs may be showing the changes of healed TB or fibrosis following the healing of the TB affected areas most likely.

However, I would like to assess the x-ray film of chest for further evaluation in details with current symptoms, lab data if any available on hand during follow up conversation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
