Hello , my 3 year old daughter had her xray and the findings was streaky infiltrates in both lung fields, both hila are prominent with evident of bilateral hilar nodularities, they are also retrocardiac nodularities be seen, the optimally visualized chest structures are unremarkable. what does this means? please explain to me, thank you.
The results of the X-ray of lungs are suggestive for pneumonia and bronchitis. Also, it shows enlarged lymph nodes. She may need to do also a total blood count with formula and sedimentation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
