What Does The Below Urine Analysis Report Indicate?

Recently had serious UTI (10 days 500mg Cipro twice daily prescribed, all taken and symptoms negative). In looking at labs, see that amorph urate 1+ epithelial 5-10, as well as some bacteria (culture negative) and other things. 1 - no followup was recommended 2 - what if anything should I be concerned about with the urate - are these crystals the same that cause gout? I am a 65yo cauc female in very good health

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. There are no WBC, and only epithelial cells, not to worry.
2. No followup is necessary.
3. These amorphous urate are different and not related to gout. Due to age related changes, you are having more epithelial cells. As your renal functions are normal, not to worry.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
