What Does The Cervical X-ray Report Show?

Hi doctor, I am male, 51 yrs old. I do have diabetes (type 2). I used to get terrible pain in the upper back. After the x-ray today, the report is as follows:

1. There is evidence of straighterning of the cervical spine with osteophytes from cervical vertebrae.
2. The C3C4, C5C6 & C6C7 intervertebral disc spaces are reduced.
3. No obvious fracgture.
4. No obvious paravertebral soft tissue swelling.

I was told by a GP that it is a slip disc and then a torn shoulder muscle.

Can you pls tell me what is actually wrong.

Best regards.
