What Does The Chest X-ray With Density In Upper Left Lobe Indicate?
Last month I had my chest xray done then it says there is a suspicious left upper lobe densities likewise there are also suspicious nodular density in the right lower lobe they suggested to have an apicolordotic view , spot film of right lower lobe with nipple marker, what do they mean by this?
welcome to Health care magic. 1.That means, there is a density ( which will cause due to presence of fluid , mass) with in the lung. 2.The different views doctor has ordered for better angulation, so that it can be seen better way. 3.The nodular densities can be seen in the lung masses ( can be benign and malignant - spending on your habits and underlying medical conditions ) 4.Also seen in the infections, which may leave trace after healing. 5.After getting the apicolordotic view, if not able to make out, you may need to have a CT with contrast for definitive evaluation ( if your medical conditions support) Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
