What Does The Chest X-ray That Shows The Lungs Are Hyperaerated With Flattening Of Hemidiaphragms Indicate?
i had a chest x-ray done and my doc sent me the results of the test the heart size is norman. Tht trachea is midline.The costophrenic angles are clear. No focal consoidation is visualized. now this is the part i want no about , the lungs are hyperaerated with flattening of hemidiaphragms what do that mean ?
It means that there is more amount of air in your lungs than it should be normally. It can be normally seen if the xray is done in a full inspiration however it can also be a sign of ASTHMA or COPD.
