Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. The importance of the serum beta-hCG titres depends on the lab criteria and the units. Any levels above 5 mIU/ml are considered to be positive evidence of pregnancy. Also, if the pregnancy is progressing well, the titres double every 2-3 days. Here, the titres have fallen. Either the pregnancy is missed or excluded. Again, ovulation may not be regular in children and hence LMP calculation may also give false clues. The ideal thing to do in the current scenario is to get a pelvic sonogram and a clinical evaluation. Hope this helps.
