sir, my aunt was tooked a treatment of ITP. that time she was recover her patlets count nearly 110000. but yesterday we are checked her cbc count (48000) plz sir suggest what we do? today is sunday. sir i want specialist dr. name and add tomm we can meet any dr?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
You have mentioned that your aunt is suffering from ITP (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura).
ITP is characterised by decrease in platelet counts.
The disease is treated with steroids since autoimmunity is implicated as the causative factor.
The disease can recur.
The platelet counts were normal in your previous reports i.e. 1,10,000 per cubic millimeter.
Now, the platelet counts have fallen to 48,000 per cubic millimeter.

You need to consult your treating doctor for relevant investigations.
Treatment may have to be repeated.
