Hi , I am a 47 year old man, with no medical history of any issues. I just recently had an eye exam because some things, not all, but a handful of times looking at small print on items are a problem to me. The exam resulted in the left eye have a stigmatism of -1.25 and my right eye being perfect at a -1.00. the doctor perscribed glasses rated at a + 1.50. I received my glasses yesterday and had terrible experiences, one was almost driving off the road and the others are my walking weird, and seeing items leaning to the right side. I called the doctor this morning and he said to come in to their office, i did this and they made adjustments to my glasses. My far sighted vision is perfect i have no issues there, my near sightedness is fine except for the smaller print on electronics.. I have progressive lenses with an anti-glare feature added to them. My questions are these... 1. when is enough, enough... and why aren t these glasses correcting my supposedely problem immediatley, whey are things looking slanted to the right side all the time, and also everything else is short fat and wrong in demension and size? I ve started to ask for a refund and the doctor says to give the glasses time to adjust my eyes, Really!? time to adjust... both my sister and my mom where glasses, and they tend to think i was forced into getting something expensive that i really didn t need yet. I m looking for an honest and straight up answer. hopefully you can help me. I feel i m putting myself into more danger wearing these than i would be otherwise. and when is it really too late to make them give me a full refund ? thank you, steven whiting
