It is not unusual for couples to have discordant HIV test results (husband positive, wife negative/husband negative, wife positive). While awaiting your test results, I advise that you use condoms during sex. If one of you is positive continue using condoms while having sex with each other.
And always use condoms while having sex with an unknown partner.
