What Does The Feeling Of Not Getting Enough Air In Lungs Indicate?

I have had chest pressure on and off for months. Alot of times it feels like I do not get enough air in my lungs so I take really deep breaths. Now I have star belching alot, also. I do suffer from anxiety, and in the past sometimes it feels like I can not get enough air in my lungs has always been associated with that for me.
I am concerned that it might be associated with my heart.

Hello,

In anxiety, panic attacks can occur and in that attack, Dyspnea like presentation can also occur. So, treat anxiety well with medication and behavioral counselling therapy by nearby good psychiatrist.

If after resolving anxiety problem persists, then chest x-ray and spirometry can be done for further work up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
