What Does The Feeling Of Pressure And Labor Breathing In The Chest?
Thank you. I just finished a mild one mile walk during which I experienced a feeling high up in my chest almost under my throat , somewhat like pressure and labored breathing. I had a heart stress test and echo earlier this year and they were fine. But I have had a heart Cath in 2009 and my RCA had a 40% blockage. My blood pressure runs consistently normal with a daily low dose 5 mg of lisinopril. Could it be a hiatal hernia? Symptoms resolved after resting for 10 min. Thank you
In Hiatus herniaacid reflux is present. Your symptoms get resolved with rest in few minutes. So it is not Hiatus hernia. It could be exertion induced laboured breathing.
However still you can repeat tread mill test and investigate with spirometry or chest x ray for further work up. It could not be myocardial infarction like condition as well because symptom resolve with rest.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further
