What Does The Following CT Scan Report Suggest?

Along the cephalad/left anterior aspect of the uterus, there is a somewhat unusual globular area potentially related to an adnexal lesion or a pedunculated fibroid. There is no free fluid. What does this mean?? This was my ct scan now I go for ultrasound what does it mean fibroid or cancer

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a fibroid. It is nothing but a benign (non-cancerous) tumor arising from the uterus.

Consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. You might require surgical removal of the same also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
