What Does The Following CT Scan Result Mean?

Results of a recent CT scan w/ contrast. Pt. is diabetic, overweight, had very recent septic infection.Lines and devices none Liver: I'll defined hypodense lesions within the periphery of the liver with the largest in segment 6 measuring approx 6.2 x 3 2cm Questionable supplying of vessels around lesion suggesting solid mass.Multiple other heterogeneous areas of hyper density in posterior right lobe of liver.MRI recommended within 2 weeks.No prior study for comparison.What does / can all this mean?

I have gone through your CT scan report and would try my best to explain it to you.
Since a solid mass is detected on CT scan this may represent range of benign or malignant possibilities which require detailed assessment for further characterization and possible diagnosis. I would agree with the suggested MRI as the modality of choice.

I would suggest you consult your local physician for clinical evaluation and further management.
