Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I met with an accident last friday and done CT head. My reports tells that Minimal scalp thickening is noted ove the right frontal and superaorbital region. Mild mucosol thickening seen in the bilateral maxillary, ethmoid, frontal, sphenoid sinuses and the nasal cavity suggesting inflammatory rhinosinusitis. Left concha bullosa with DNA to right side is seen.
It's seem that soft tissue swelling over forehead and around orbit is seen likely due to head trauma. Sinuses are lined by inflammatory changes but we to be due to chronic sinusitis and not related to trauma you faced recently. No internal brain injury or bleeding is noted which mean these will heal spontaneously and no neurosurgeon review is needed.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing him a speedy recovery.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
