My ecg report mentions abnormal R wave progression, late transition QRS area I am 77 years old and feel healthy. I exercise of n the morning for about 1 hr and play golf in the evening for 2 hours. I don t take any medicine except urimax 0.4 daily Could u tell what this Eco means and what treatment is required Bains
Usually, in normal ECG there is r wave is there in QRS complex. Normally, from V2 to V6 chest leads the 'r' wave is progressed means the positive part of it is increased. But in COPD patients or interior wall infraction patients or right ventricular hypertrophy patients the 'r' wave is not progressed properly.
It may be due abnormal placement of chest leads also.
So please consult your physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
