What Does The Following HSG Report Suggest?

HSG report of me has given below Uterus-uterine cavity appears normal in size and shape.no filling defects seen Right fallopian tube is opacified with free spillage of contrast in pelvis Left fallopian tube is opacified.No spillage of contrast noted in left side..Please let me know iif there is any problem to concieve in this situation Arpita Roy Chowdhury Saha

Hi I think your left tube is blocked according to the HSG report. In this situation also, you can conceive naturally as one tube is sufficient to get pregnant. But chances are less. In my opinion there are two options. First is that you can try naturally for 6 months or can take medicines for ovulation induction with timed intercourse. Second is to undergo a laparoscopy to confirm the findings of HSG because HSG is not accurate 100 percent. Also block can be cleared by laparoscopy if possible. Discuss with your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
