General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following conclusions can be considered based on the HSG report details you have furnished.
1. Uterus is deviated to left side. Ideally, it should be in the centre.
2. Single Fallopian tube on the left side is seen. It should be two in number with one on the left and other on the right.
3. Fallopian tube has free peritoneal spill. It means that the tube is patent and does not have any blocks.
Impression is 'Unicornuate uterus' - which means that the uterus has only one Fallopian tube attached and the other one is absent.
Unicornuate uterus is a developmental anamoly of uterus which has single horn and has a banana shape.
Pregnancy can occur with such type of uterus bit carries a risk of spontaneous abortion.
Kindly consult your doctor for further evaluation and advise regarding the same.
Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.,
