Hi..i had an HSG and it says the outlined uterine cavity is capacious and shows a central filling defect. Both tubes are not outlined and no spillage see bilaterally. Noted is intravasation of contrast medium on the left. Please what does it mean and what are my chances of getting pregnant. And 27
The HSG (hysterosalpingography) report shows a patent uterine cavity and absence of spillage of contrast media in the abdominal cavity shows blockage of both fallopian tubes.
Blockage of both fallopian tubes can cause a problem in fertilization and hence difficult conception.
For treatment, the cause of blockage of the fallopian tubes needs to be known and treatment can be planned thereafter.
