What Does The Following LFT Report Suggest?

Liver Txp #3 mid-Feb. 17 for recurrence of PSC. (Txp.s 1&2 in July 98.) Current LFT s are excellent. Kidney numbers elevated: BUN=34, Creat=2.0, K=5.3, Ph & Mg high end of range. Kidney US showed increased Cortical echogenicity . Meds: Prograf 3+2 mg/day, Prednisone 5mg, NaCO4 650mg BID, Asacol 800mg TID (controls U.C.), supplements. Question(s): 1. Why do I have increased Cortical echogenicity in both kidneys? 2. Though non-specific , what could be wrong, and (other than drink more water like I d be going for a daily colonoscopy) what can I do about it, if anything? (Yeah: lower K & Na, I know that already.) 3. As Prograf reduces, are the kidney blood studies likely to improve? 4. Is there damage being done? or: has any damage been done, and if so, can it be reversed? 5. Other suggestions/advice? Thanks.
