Hi! I just got my liver profile examined but I haven t got to get the Ultrasound test yet. What might be the diagnosis of this? I have chronic hepa B by the way. Should I be worried about my results because my SGPT is high but others are normal. Here are the results: SGPT : 438.68 (normal range: 0-49U/L) Alkaline Phosphatase : 195.60 (normal range adult: 80-306) Total Protein : 82.65 (normal range: 66-88 g/L) Albumin : 45.77 (normal range 35-52g/L) Globulin : 36.88 (normal range 31-36g/L) A/G ratio : 1.24 (normal range 1.13-2.1:1
Your SGPT is significantly elevated and the most probable reason is active hepatitis B. So it needs evaluation with further tests to see the level of hep B virus and treatment initiation if not having or modification. So visit nearby hepatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
