What does this mean in laymans terms There is a moderately severe to severe and at least partially reversible defect involving the apex, all of the anterior and anteroseptal walls, mild and distal interoseptal and inferior and distal segments Show mild hypokinesis of the apex Left ventricular ejection fraction is at 55 %. High inducible ischemia Probably apical scar High cardiac risk Mild hypokinesis results of a MIBI exam
The MIB scan report indicates hypo-perfusion of the coronary arteries via some sort of atherosclerosis or else. Certain measures need to be followed for this regard: - Restriction of physical activity as per the advise of your cardiologist - Control of blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol levels - Maintain body weight - Diet, fluid, salt intake advise from cardiologist - Supportive medications as anti platelet, lipid lowering agents and supportive care to boost heart functioning and prevent early morbidity, mortality issues - Avoid smoking if consuming
