What Does The Following MRI Report Indicate?

My MRI shows the following: L4-5 Loss of disc signal is seen. normal disc height is identified. Left para midline annular fissure and shallow protrusion is seen. This is very confusing and would like to know in basic English what this means. Tank you

the report says there is small growth of nuro channel at the level of L4-5 that is just above hip gurdle.
